Comoney

Privacy Policy

Last updated 2 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Comoney iPhone app or visit the Comoney website. Comoney is developed and operated under the name Igrecway.

Overview

Expense information and other content you add to Comoney are stored on your iPhone. The developer does not receive or have access to that content. The only information transmitted automatically by the app is limited usage data and crash diagnostics processed through Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.

Information stored on your device

Comoney stores the information needed to manage shared expenses in the app's private storage on your device. This may include event and participant names, expense details, currencies, notes, saved locations, photos or receipts, and app settings.

This information is not uploaded to a Comoney server and is not included in analytics or crash reports. Comoney does not provide user accounts or cloud synchronization, and the developer cannot view or recover your locally stored information.

Photos and location

Comoney requests access to your photo library or location only when you use a feature that requires it, such as attaching a receipt or saving an expense location. Information selected through these features remains part of the locally stored app data. You can review or change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Analytics and crash reports

Comoney uses Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand general app usage and maintain app reliability. These services may process:

  • usage events, such as app interactions;
  • app version, device model, operating system version, and language;
  • an app or installation identifier; and
  • crash logs, stack traces, and technical information about the app at the time of a crash.

The developer uses this information only to understand feature usage, identify problems, and improve stability. Comoney does not use this information for advertising, sell it, or combine it with the expense information stored on your device.

Google processes this information as a service provider and may process it in countries other than your own. Its handling of the information is governed by Firebase Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy.

iCloud and device backups

Comoney does not provide iCloud synchronization. However, when iCloud Backup is enabled for your iPhone, Apple may include Comoney's locally stored data in the device backup. A backup made to a computer may also contain app data. The developer cannot access these backups.

You can control which apps are included in iCloud Backup and delete existing backups through your Apple account and device settings. For more information, see Apple's guidance on what iCloud backs up.

Exporting and sharing

When you choose to export or share information from Comoney, iOS sends it to the person, app, or service you select. The developer does not receive a copy. The recipient's privacy practices apply after the information is shared.

Website information

The Comoney website does not provide user accounts or data-entry forms and does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or first-party cookies. The hosting provider may process standard connection information, such as an IP address and the page requested, to deliver and secure the website. See the Cookie Notice for more information.

Retention and deletion

Locally stored information remains on your device until you delete it in Comoney or remove the app. Copies may remain in device backups until you replace or delete those backups.

Analytics and crash information is retained according to the retention settings applied in Google's services and is deleted or aggregated when it is no longer needed for usage analysis or troubleshooting.

Your choices

  • You can edit or delete locally stored information in Comoney.
  • You can change photo-library and location permissions in iOS Settings.
  • You can remove local app data by deleting the app and manage backup copies through Apple or your computer.

Depending on where you live, privacy law may also give you rights concerning information processed through analytics and crash reporting, including rights to access, delete, restrict, or object to processing. Contact the developer to make a privacy request. Because this information does not include a Comoney account or your expense content, it may not always be possible to associate it with you.

Children

Comoney is a general-audience expense app and is not designed specifically for children. If you believe that information relating to a child has been processed through the app's analytics or crash-reporting services, please contact the developer.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Comoney's features or data practices change. The date at the top will show when it was last revised.
